How to report infringing material, and how to dispute a removal.
PlamoHangar respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Filing a notice of infringement
If you own copyright in material that appears on PlamoHangar without authorisation, please send our designated agent a written notice containing all of the following. These elements are set out in 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), and a notice missing any of them may not be effective:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — please include the full URL of the page in question.
- Information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you: your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
What we do when we receive a notice
On receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material expeditiously, and make a reasonable effort to notify the user who posted it, providing them with a copy of the notice and information about filing a counter-notice.
Filing a counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that the material is not infringing — for example because you own the rights, or the use is a fair use — you may send our designated agent a counter-notice containing all of the following, per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed, and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, together with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the person who filed the original notice. Unless they notify us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
A warning about false claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please consider carefully whether the use you are reporting is actually infringing — fair use, for example, is a legitimate defence — and consult a lawyer if you are unsure.
A note on catalogue data
PlamoHangar's catalogue records factual information about commercially released model kits: names, scales, grades, release dates, and product numbers. Facts of this kind are generally not subject to copyright protection. We are nonetheless glad to hear from rightsholders with concerns about specific catalogue entries or images, and we would rather have the conversation than not — write to dmca@plamohangar.app.
