Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PlamoHangar, a collection tracker for scale model kits operated by Chris Sartoris ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use PlamoHangar

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

Because sign-in works by emailing you a code rather than by password, anyone with access to your email account can access your PlamoHangar account. Keeping your email secure is the single most important thing you can do to protect your account. Tell us promptly at support@plamohangar.app if you believe someone else has gained access.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create — your photos, your reviews, and your collection data remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

To run the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting PlamoHangar. If your profile is public, that includes displaying your content publicly and generating link previews when your pages are shared elsewhere. This licence exists so we can show your build photos on your profile — nothing more — and it ends when you delete the content, except for copies already in ordinary backups.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you upload. Please only upload photographs you took yourself or otherwise have permission to use.

The shared catalogue

Kit records are shared by everyone on the site, unlike your personal collection. Two things follow from that:

• Corrections you make to a kit's details apply only to your copy of that kit and do not change what other people see.
• If you submit a kit that is missing from the catalogue, it becomes part of that shared resource. We may edit, merge, or remove it, and it may remain in the catalogue after you delete your account, since other people may be relying on it. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your attribution.

Catalogue records are factual information about commercially released products — names, scales, grades, release dates, product numbers. Some of this information is derived from the community-maintained Gunpla Wiki, with thanks.

Trademarks and copyrights of others

PlamoHangar is an independent hobbyist project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any model kit manufacturer, rightsholder, or licensor. Product names, brand names, series titles, and trademarks referenced in the catalogue belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products they describe.

Likewise, the underlying products — their designs, box art, packaging, and any associated imagery — are the copyrighted property of their respective manufacturers and rightsholders. The catalogue records factual information about these products rather than reproducing that artwork; where product imagery does appear on the site, it has been contributed by users to illustrate their own kits.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Post content you do not have the right to post, or that infringes anyone's copyright or trademark.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other people.
• Post sexual content involving minors, or content that is unlawful, hateful, or gratuitously offensive.
• Upload anything unrelated to scale models as a way of using us for free file hosting.
• Spam, advertise, or run commercial promotions.
• Scrape the site at scale, or attempt to bypass rate limits, access other users' accounts, or interfere with the service's operation.
• Choose a handle that impersonates someone else or is deliberately offensive.

Moderation and termination

We may remove content, reject or edit catalogue submissions, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. We will use judgement rather than apply rules mechanically, and where it is practical and appropriate we will tell you why. Serious cases — particularly those involving safety or the law — may be handled immediately and without notice.

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

You can stop using PlamoHangar and delete your account at any time from your settings.

Availability

PlamoHangar is a small, independently run project. We do not promise any particular level of uptime, and the service may change, break, or become unavailable. We recommend using the CSV export from time to time so you always hold your own copy of your collection.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that catalogue information is accurate or complete — much of it is community-contributed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or twenty-five US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top reflects the current version, and we will give notice of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use PlamoHangar after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
